Some places are typically only photographed from one point of view- and Moraine Lake is definitely one of those places. Don’t get me wrong, the shot looking head on at the lake with the mountains in the background is pretty freakin epic, and a classic for a reason. We walked around the perimeter of the lake during golden hour, and got some pretty insane light rays shining down on the mountains, hitting the yellow larch trees. This place is definitely amazingly stunning from each and every angle. So happy to share a new one with you guys 🍂🍁💛. I’ll never get over the amazing sunrises we saw in Banff. The first few days it was all moody and overcast but the two days we had to be up early we had the most stunning light and colors. I hate waking up early, but these views were so worth it! AND we secured the perfect Instagram rock for our shots too 😌 IYKYK. Oh Canada. The land where blue Gatorade runs free 💦. Larch madness is definitely a thing, and I’m all about it 😛🍁🍂💛 Autumn is my absolute favorite season ever. There’s just some thing about the changing of the leaves and the crisp air that is so beautiful to me. Sometimes, you have to let go of what’s passed, to allow new things to come to be 🍂🍁 It’s easy to see how Emerald Lake got its name. With the changing light, the color melted from a vibrant turquoise, to a deep emerald green. It was definitely one of my favorite memories from this trip for sure! Nothing feels dreamier than standing feet away from a magnificent glacier, surrounding by a field of dandelions frozen in time ❄️.
